Joya de Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco Reserva Especial Petit Robusto #2020

Another non-Cuban masterpiece, this time from Nicaragua. Although the binder leaf is Dominican, in this cigar, it is actually an advantage, as it reduces the cigar’s strength. But let’s start from the beginning…

Joya de Nicaragua cigars represent the Central American standard. The brand’s cigars are good, but nothing exceptional. When they launched the Cuatro Cinco in 2013 as an „Edicion Limitada,” they had no idea how successful it would become. The few thousand boxes were sold out in no time, which led the company to decide to produce this cigar continuously in various sizes. And what a great decision that was…

A masterpiece from start to finish. Right after lighting, you are greeted with a burst of flavors: dark chocolate, coffee, and sweet floral honey. The smoke is full and creamy. As you progress through the thirds, the cigar warms up, and the flavors unfold and become more pronounced. While Nicaraguan cigars are typically strong, this does not apply to the Petit Robusto. I can confidently recommend it even to beginners, as it is an affordable and excellent cigar.
